
Jim Stoeffel is a Portfolio Manager for Royce Investment Partners. Mr. Stoeffel serves as Portfolio Manager for Royce Micro-Cap Fund, Royce Capital
Fund—Micro-Cap Portfolio, and Royce Micro-Cap Trust, a closed-end fund. He also manages portfolios in the firm’s Small-Cap Opportunistic Value strategy, including Royce Opportunity Fund, an open-end mutual fund. Prior to joining Royce Investment Partners, Mr. Stoeffel co-founded and managed a hedge fund for Rebus Partners. Prior to that, he was employed by Cramer Rosenthal McGlynn, LLC (2001-2008) and served as Co-Manager for the Small Cap, All Cap, and CRM Partners LP funds. In addition, he was Director of Research at Palisade Capital (1999-2001) and Vice President of Research at Salomon, Smith Barney (1993-1999). He began his career as a Financial Services Industry auditor (1984-1992). Mr. Stoeffel received a bachelor’s degree from Washington & Lee University and a Master of Business Administration from New York University.
