Peter Fitzgerald

Peter Fitzgerald is the Chief Investment Officer at Lloyds Banking Group. He is a senior investment professional with over 25 years’ experience across global financial markets, including Asia, Latin America, Europe and the UK. He’s held leadership roles spanning investment management, portfolio construction, product development, manager selection and distribution, including multiple C-suite positions.

Peter was previously Chief Investment Officer, Macro Discretionary at Aviva Investors, and lead portfolio manager of the AIMS Target Return Fund, a global macro strategy. As CIO for Multi-Asset & Macro, he led investment teams responsible for more than £100bn across multi-asset, absolute return and fixed income strategies.

Earlier in his career, Peter held senior roles at BNP Paribas Wealth Management, Insinger de Beaufort Asset Management and Old Mutual International.
